The bar was opened on March 5, 1996 in a 17th century cellar in the Old Town.
The bar has been named after a festival taking place in the Caribbean Islands once in a year.
The Caribbean Islands are reminded not only by a wide choice of records of reggae and calypso music but also by wood carvings brought from Negril, Jamaica.
This is the only bar of its kind in Vilnius that specialises in reggae music.

The visitors to CARRIBANA are surprised and captivated by over 30 kinds of tropical cocktails and dishes whose recipes originate from various islands in the Caribbean Sea. For those who like seafood CARIBBANA offers interesting and inexpensive dishes:
