Structure of the club
The annual general meeting of the club members has the highest decision
power.
The club is ruled by the President, who is elected during the general meeting of the club
members.
The organization fulfils the decisions of the board in the period between those general
meetings.
The organization is based on the voluntary work.
Goals of the club
The propagation of the classical guitar art in Lithuania and in foreign
countries.
The solution of social problems of the young people’s occupation.
The improvement of the society’s cultural consciousness.
The organization of concerts for inmates of Children’s House, disabled people and
representatives of other social strata.
The search of sponsers for the realization of musical and cultural projects.
Activities of the club
The organization of concerts, festivals, competitions and other musical events.
The coordination of the club work.
Supporting of musical collectives and single musicians.
The organization of lections, seminars and practical courses.
The organization of lessons for everyone wishing to learn to play the classical guitar.
Popularization of the classical guitar art in the mass media.
The club keeps contacts with other organizations in Lithuania and in other countries.
The club "Motus Recto" regularly organizes club members’ meetings,
discussions.
The members get acquainted with video and audio records, listen to the lections, they also
make reports and mini performances.
Fulfilled projects
In 1994 and 1998 the club held two festivals of the young players of
classical guitar.
A.Frauci, V.Cebanov, A.Rengac, A.Finkelđtein, N.Kođkin, D.Reginos,
T.Korhonen, A,Griun,A.Vinitskij, R.Evers,
D.Joachim, D.Eduardo, V.Lieske and guitar quarters Jam-Q and Versal quarter gave concerts
in Lithuania by the club’s invitation.
The first classical guitar teaching programme for musical and secondary
schools was composed.
The classical guitar classes are established in musical schools by the initiative of the
club.
The mastery courses for teachers and young performers directed by foreign musicians were
organised.
Since February 16,1998 the club has its own publication “Guitar”.
In April 1998 the representative of the club took part in the events
held for the Baltic States culture in Finland.
In December 1998 the club “Motus Recto” together with Lithuania’s organization for
children’s rights “Save the children”
organized guitar music charity concert for inmates of Children’s house.
The nearest projects
In February 27, 1999 the club “Motus Recto” together with community
“Viltis” organize the charity concert for disabled children in Đirvintos.
In March 1999 the concerts of Lithuanian and Polish guitar players duo “CON STAGIONE”.
In May 11-15, 1999 the first international classical guitar festival is organized in
Điauliai. The artists from Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Byelorussia, Germany,
Belgia, Holland, and Spain will take part in it. The festival concerts will take place in
Vilnius Town Hall, Kaunas Philharmonic and other cities.
In October 1999 the concerts of “CORONA GUITAR QUARTET” from Denmark. The concerts
will take place in Vilnius Town Hall, Kaunas and Điauliai Philharmonic.
